At his 2nd birthday party, Landon received a crisp one hundred dollar bill as a gift. The way he was holding it up to inspect it made me think he was checking for the watermark to make sure it was legit.

This is actually a still frame from a video I shot for my work the other day. She was lit only by the light of a video playing on a projector. Beautiful 5D low-light video.

The Bride

This particular photo was more or less an experiment with post processing to see if I could take the raw image and bring it to a point that I actually liked. I decided to bring the image into After Effects, a motion graphics application, to do some of the processing like the light rays and lens flare since effects as such are much easier to create and control within there.

After some time in AE and Photoshop I decided to stop and critique. It didn’t quite fit into the category of a traditional wedding photo, but I was very pleased with the outcome, as were the bride and groom.

I’ve also included the original photo to see where it started and where it ended up.
