Unlike most of the little quarter vending machines here in the US, the ones in Japan are a little bit more spendy (1 yen/$1) but at least you get a much higher quality toy. I think I must have spent a good $20 trying to get the complete set while I was there, which at the time, only consisted of Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and Peach. Peach was the stubborn one, and I ended up buying her on ebay for a few bucks, but then they came out with a few more in a second set that I later got as a gift.</p>
